for an airport like Gran Canaria with high terrain on one side I’d recommend having both circuits on the same side (on this case the right), if I was in a prop I would probably of hit the ground on the left hand circuit 😅
all runway change pattern entries were perfect and fast, clearances were also very good although on the last one I was cleared to land instead of for the option, I’m sure this was just a mis-click mistake. And I did request runway change quite late so you may have panicked a bit
the exit runway was slightly late but I was still on the runway at least, aim for ~80kts depending on the aircraft.
Otherwise, ground was perfect, keep it up!
Hope to be on your frequency again soon :)
Another fantastic session well done! I only have one point for you this time:
Exit runway commands, I think with both Jinco and I, they were a bit late. But that was the only thing I spotted so well done, knuckle down on getting exit runway commands on time and you are good!
Well done with the give way command (it was intentional me going slow 😅) and you dealt with it right.
Yeah, the two exits were a bit slow again. Yours, because I wasn’t sure at first whether you were stopping. I’ll try to “prepare” the commands in the future so it’s just a single press once I spot the landing.
The first time it was because I wanted to see if you catch the go-around opportunity. I think that the immediate takeoff command was perfect but the other aircraft almost stopped on the runway. When you issue an immediate takeoff the aircraft has to take off immediately without stopping on the runway, but that pilot didn’t do that. No worries ;) Maybe, in that case, I would have given a cancel takeoff clearance to the other aircraft and a go around to me, because if the other aircraft took off while I was going around that could be a collision. The second time it was because I wanted to touch the ground and quit the session because you already gave me all the commands possible, so I thought it was better to do like that. If I will do another session with you, I won’t do that again 🤦♂️ Sorry 😅
Anyway, I think that it was a great ATC session! The only thing is that when you issue a go-around, the pattern entry is not required, but the sequence (if there are other aircraft) and the clearance are necessary :)
If you want, tag me next time! Thank you for the session and sorry again😬 See you!
