Today to celebrate my birthday my girlfriend took me for a surprise adventure where I had no idea what was happening. In the afternoon her final stop on the itinerary which ended up being 4 hours long was a surprise visit to the 8/5 Runway Cafe at Phuket airport where I ended up spotting. Was an absolute gorgeous day and the background really looked pristine with the sun!

I’ve found that even my non-avgeek family members and friends can kinda get into planespotting. It’s very mesmerizing to watch planes take off and land.

Yeah, it is, the cafe was also just very relaxing because it was noise cancelling with AC and food and drink so you could just chill on your phone and relax to the piano music in the background if you weren’t into planes.
