Farewell Flight for Sun Country Airlines
Tomorrow night I’ll be hosting a farewell flight for Sun Country Airlines on the Expert Server in Infinite Flight before the airline’s merger with Allegiant Air.
I know the merger itself isn’t real, but I thought it would be a cool way to bring the community together and do one final Sun Country-style departure out of MSP.

For a lot of people around MSP, Sun Country was always one of those airlines that stood out. The orange planes parked across Terminal 2, the vacation routes heading out to Las Vegas, Orlando, Phoenix, Cancun, and all the late-night departures became a huge part of the airport over the years.
Even in Infinite Flight, Sun Country flights always felt different from the normal airline routes people constantly fly. There was just something cool about loading into Terminal 2 at MSP at night and seeing a full lineup of orange 737s getting ready to head out across the country.
That’s pretty much what I want this event to recreate.
The goal is to fill up Terminal 2 with Sun Country aircraft one last time, get some good screenshots with the community, and do a realistic evening departure out of Minneapolis before heading west into Las Vegas together.
If you want to fly Allegiant instead, feel free to bring an A320 or A319 in Allegiant colors as a representation of the airline’s “next chapter.” I think having both airlines together at the gates will make the event look even cooler.

• Realistic Expert Server operations
• Cruise screenshots along the route
• Group arrival into Las Vegas
• Final screenshots at KLAS after landing
• ATC coverage if available
Please try to spawn around 20–30 minutes early because MSP will probably get crowded fast once people start arriving. If ATC is online, please follow instructions so we can keep things smooth for everyone participating.
I’ll post the SimBrief route and full flight plan as soon as I finish putting it together.
Whether you fly the full route, just join for screenshots, or even control ATC, everyone is welcome to participate.
Also, if anyone would like to help me organize future community flights and events, definitely let me know. I’d love to start doing more large-scale group flights like this in the future.
Hopefully we can give Sun Country one last great departure out of Terminal 2 tomorrow night.
