Summer spotting in Moscow

Welcome to my 3rd spotting topic!

Location: Moscow Vnukovo Andrey Nikolayevich Tupolev Int’l
Camera: Nikon D5300

Firstly, I want to start with the monument to the legendary Tupolev Tu-104. This is the first Soviet jet airliner, and it is symbolic that it stands right next to the airport named after its creator.

The first arrival that day was a 28.1 years old Boeing 767-300 from Antalya.

Nextly, there was a Turkish Airlines’ Airbus A321 that arrived from Dalaman.

The third one was a Rossiya’s Airbus A320

This Boeing 737-800 arrived from somewhere in Turkey.

Just look at that little cutie

Very colorful Airbus A320 from Hurghada.

Little Boeing 737-500 from Bovanenkovo.

The stylish A321neo arrives from Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen

And finally, the purpose of my visit: Conviasa Airbus A340-600 from Caracas!

Thank you for visiting my topic!

Really nice photos with a bunch of airlines that you mostly don’t see very often!

I love how they didn’t even go through the effort of removing the name of the previous operator. :joy:

Hey wait a minute, I’ve seen this one before…

What do you mean?

This A320 used to fly for Canada JetLines, which was a small carrier in Canada that ceased operations about a year ago. I used to see their A320s around YYZ quite a bit between 2022 and 2024 when I’d fly back home during university holidays.

Stunning photos! I would love to be able to go plane spotting at any of Moscow’s 3 main airports so much underrated and underappreciated liveries and aircrafts :star_struck:
