Hello folks, this is our second part of our return trip as we laid over at Dallas Fort Worth before we caught our final flight to St. Louis to conclude our Summer 2024 Trip to the 305 Miami. I hope you enjoy this final flight from Dallas Fort Worth to St. Louis.
Final Flight: American Airlines Flight 2761 - Dallas-Fort Worth to St. Louis 🇺🇸

So after arriving into DFW from Miami, we hopped on the DFW Skylink, transferring from Terminal A to Terminal C for Gate C29 for our flight to St. Louis, across the TGI Fridays restaurant food 🥘 🍴. Then the gate agent announced that those of us that’s going to St. Louis will be heading to gate C38, and here we are at Gate C38 DFW airport, ready for us to board this final flight back to the 314 St. Louis 🇺🇸. Welcome aboard American Airlines Flight 2761 service to St. Louis here we go. Before we were switched to Gate C29, we were gonna get something to eat at TGI Fridays, but then wounded up across Nowitzki Restaurant, which is across Gate C37, next to our gate C38. So then we decided whether we ate or not, and thus we decided we didn’t wanna eat anything from there. But anyways, let’s board this flight to get home to STL.
After boarding was complete, we pushed back, and here we are taxiing to RWY 17R for takeoff out of DFW
In preparation for takeoff, we entered RWY 17R, lined up and cleared for takeoff
And whoopsy, something unexpected happened as we had to abort takeoff for some reason. And I hope that we didn’t have to taxi back to the gate cuz that would mean that our flight might be cancelled, or would be transferred to another plane or something. So it appears to me that the captain’s Grandmother which is me IRL, called him and asked him to make her French fries lol 😆. Exactly, in the middle of me taking off, asking me to Now back to the flight, after wasting 15 minutes on the taxi way, we finally taxied, got back on the runway and we finally lifted off RWY 17R from DFW, on our way to St. Louis 🇺🇸
After we tookoff, we banked to our left, and here we are banking left, flying over Dallas Love Field Airport, which is one of Southwest Airlines Hub airports in Texas 🇺🇸 🌵.
Then cruising at FL350, we flew over McAlester Oklahoma 🇺🇸 as the flight attendants served us Biscoff Cookies 🍪 with a choice of drinks. So I got this time Dr. Pepper 🥤, Aunty got a cup of Water 💧, and Uncle Offiong got a cup of Water too 💧. And I listened to music 🎶📱🎧 throughout the flight, which was I guess Iba One. But anyways, while listening to music, trash 🗑️ was collected and then chewed my bubblegum for the remainder of the flight.
Then 15 minutes later, we began our descent onto St. Louis. During descent, we were to be seated with our seat belts fastened right. Exactly and we did that as the seat belt sign was turned on. Upon preparation for landing into STL aiming for RWY 12L, we flew over this Missouri River by Bergers Missouri 🇺🇸 before we started making our right turn onto final RWY 12L, which in this case, that we’re almost home.
And here we are on short final RWY 12L as we can see RWY 11 on our right that we’re passing by and RWY 12R before touching down STL airport.
And we just landed in St. Louis. Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome back to the 🇺🇸 314 St. Louis after a wonderful summer vacation in Miami and Naija. So now, we crossed RWY 12R before taxiing to Gate C10 for our arrival at STL.
And glory be to Jesus we made it back to St. Louis safely and sound as we arrived at Gate C10 STL airport. Yep that’s right, we made it home. So time for us to deplane the aircraft, take a shot of our plane, proceed to baggage claim 🛄 to claim our baggage 🧳 and leave the airport to head home 🏠, grab something to eat and its bed time 🥱.
And that completes our Summer 2024 Trip to the 305 Miami journey. I hope you enjoyed our entire journey. And we’ll travel again soon on our next journey. So as you know, summer is over as it’s time for the kids to head back to school. Well, there are schools in certain cities that have already started. But anyways, it’s back to school for the kids, and time for us to head back to work especially Aunty Ini and Uncle Offiong.
