Hello folks, welcome to the second part of our trip back to the π΄ππΊπΈ 305 Miami from Lagos π³π¬. I hope you enjoy this trip as we fly from Frankfurt to Miami on another Queen of the Skies B747-8 aircraft. Btw, we had a 4hr 45min layover at Frankfurt airport
Final Flight: Lufthansa Flight 462 - π©πͺ Frankfurt to Miami π΄ππΊπΈ

After going through the passport and baggage inspection, we were cleared to go through security before we arrived here at Gate Z54 FRA airport, seeing this Lufthansa B747-8 in the new livery this time taking us back to the USA. Good morning folks, welcome aboard Lufthansa Flight 462 service to the π΄ππΊπΈ305 Miami, let the trip begin.
After push back and safety video was being played, we were taxiing our way to RWY 18 for takeoff out of FRA. So sit back and enjoy the flight to the π΄ππΊπΈ305 Miami. Btw, here is that Private E175 sitting at that ramp, getting ready for its flight, as you can see on the left.
Then the captain goes, βFlight Attendants, prepare for takeoffβ, before we line up RWY 18 before our takeoff roll
And off we go we took off from Frankfurt RWY 18, and we are on our way to the USA πΊπΈ , leaving Germany π©πͺ . Bye bye Frankfurt ππ©πͺ.
Banking to our left after our 180 clockwise turn, heading north, we were headed northwest whilst leaving the German π©πͺ airspace, flying over this area Rudesheim π©πͺ.
Once we initially leveled off at FL320, a few minutes later, the flight attendants started the starter service which was Crackers once again that was served. Then 15 minutes later, hand towels and main lunch was served, once again either a choice of Chicken and Rice ππ or Pasta π . So this time, all of us got chicken and rice ππ that came along with a bottle of water π¦ , a bread roll π with butter π§ , a garden salad π₯ , and this time lemon cake π° π which was so sweet and savory. Oh and the drinks, I got Sprite π₯€, Aunty got Coca Cola π₯€, Grandma got coffee βοΈ and Uncle got Pepsi π₯€. Apparently, we descended to FL300 as I have seen on the flight tracker on the IFE which for some reason, assuming that there seems to be a lack of fuel, meaning that if we ran out of fuel midair, we wouldβve fell out of the sky, crashed into the water, and wouldβve been killed. But thankfully, it didnβt happened. So in this case, we stayed at FL300 throughout most of the duration of the flight as we were somewhere 2 hours away from Miami, we climbed back to FL320, then to FL360, then finally FL380. Besides that, trash ποΈ was collected and then I listened to music πΆ π§ π± on the majority of the flight. Then I watched a movie π₯ πΏ called βThe Unionβ throughout the rest of the flight, and yes while we were served a chocolate bar π« , and then a pre-landing snack which was a Turkey & Cheese Sandwich π₯ͺ with pickles π₯ on top, mixed fruits π , and a kit kat bar π« . After that and trash ποΈ was collected, I chewed bubblegum for the remainder of the flight. Btw, we were cruising over the North Atlantic Ocean π at FL300 after we left the European airspace.
And here we are as we descended, while watching the movie πΏ π₯"The Union", and getting near MIA airport, aiming for RWY 26L, we flew towards the Atlantic Coastal Plain π before turning left, flying along the Florida Coastline until South Florida was in sight before turning onto final RWY 26L MIA airport.
And here we are on short final RWY 26L MIA airport, flying over Allapattah, before we touch down into the π΄ππΊπΈ 305 Miami.
And yep, we just landed in Miami which means, welcome back to the 305 Miami for Grandma, and welcome to Miami once again for Aunty, Uncle and I as we head back to St. Louis on Friday on American Airlines. So now, taxiing to Gate J17 for our arrival to MIA.
And we have arrived to Gate J17 at MIA airport safely once we were stable, amid fuel. After our arrival, we grabbed our belongings, exited the aircraft, took a photo of our aircraft that brought us to Miami from Frankfurt, and here we are proceeding to the passport control before proceeding to Baggage Claim to claim our baggage, exiting the airport, and grabbing a cab to the house, spending a day and night before we head back to St. Louis πΊπΈ on American Airlines.
And that completes our Summer 2024 Trip to Naija. I hope you enjoyed our entire Naija journey. I was fun and we had fun in Naija. We took lots of pictures obviously, ate lots of Nigerian food, and had lots of fun with the Nigerian folks, which I say. And thus, we would like to thank Grandma for taking us to Nigeria for our summer vacation. Until next time, stay tune for our American Airlines flight back to St. Louis. Without further ado, have a blessed day and be safe. See ya in the skies.
