Hello folks, this is the second part of this trip as we laid over for 3hrs 35mins at Frankfurt airport. We went through passport control π and then proceed through security and made our way to our next gate for our flight to Lagos π³π¬. I hope you enjoy this trip.
Final Flight: Lufthansa Airlines Flight 568 - π©πͺ Frankfurt to Lagos π³π¬
Aircraft: Airbus A330-300
Origin: Flughafen Frankfurt Am Main Airport (EDDF)
Destination: Murtala Muhammed Intβl Airport (DNMM)
Flight Time: 6hrs 30mins
Server: Expert
As mentioned earlier that we went through passport control π and security, we made our way to Gate B25 FRA airport and here is our aircraft that took us to Lagos π³π¬. Arriving at this gate, there were a bunch of Nigerians and very few Germans on this flight. So welcome aboard Lufthansa Flight 568 heading to Lagos π³π¬ here we go.
After pushback from Gate B25 and the safety video was played, we taxied our way to RWY 7C for takeoff from FRA airport
Here we go, upon preparation for takeoff as we entered and lined up RWY 7C before our takeoff roll
And off we go, we lifted off RWY 7C from FRA airport, and we are on our way to Naija π³π¬. Bye bye Frankfurt ππ©πͺ
After we took off, we banked to our right to head south, leaving Germany π©πͺ, and leaving Europe going into Africa
Once we leveled off at FL360, flying over the Balearic Sea π, the flight attendants started serving us Lufthansa crackers like it was on the last flight. Then the main meal π₯ was served which was either pasta π or chicken and rice ππ, which was the same meal as the last flight. But this time, me, Aunty Ini, Grandma, and Uncle Offiong chose chicken and rice ππ while I chose Sprite π₯€ once again, Aunty chose this time water π§, Grandma chose coffee βοΈ this time, and Uncle chose water π§this time. Thus, all of us was given a bottle of water along with a garden salad π₯ with dressing, Pretzel Bread π₯¨π roll with cheese π§ and butter π§, and a strawberry jello cake π° for dessert. While flying over Algeria π©πΏ, the flight attendants collected trash ποΈ. After that, I chewed on gum for the remainder of the flight. Then I put on my AirPods π§ and listened to some Naija music πΆ π³π¬ before we began our descent. Then I also took a short nap π€ before we began our descent. Perhaps, all of us did take a nap before our descent.
And here we go as we began our descent once we reached the Nigerian π³π¬ airspace before our preparation for landing into LOS airport, aiming for RWY 18R
And here we are, on short final RWY 18R LOS airport before touch down.
And clap for applause π as we just landed in Lagos π³π¬ and the one of the Nigerian π³π¬ passenger chanted βIN THE NAME OF JESUS, WELCOME TO LAGOS π³π¬. ALLELUIA, AMEN πβ. After exiting the runway, we taxied to Gate D41 for our arrival. Dude, I really did enjoy that chant upon us landing in Lagos. That was awesome. I donβt have a reason why, but I just enjoyed that chant.
And here we are at Gate D41 LOS airport upon arrival. Welcome to Lagos Naija π³π¬ folks. We have made it to Nigeria π³π¬ safely and sound. So now, itβs time for us to grab our belongings and exit the aircraft using the steps, and walk on the tarmac to enter the airport, proceeding to the passport control π before Grandma called one of the taxi π driver named Bassey to take us to Lagos Ikeja Marriot Hotel π¨ for one night before heading off to Uyo π³π¬ on Ibom Air the next morning.
And that completes our trip from πΊπΈ Miami to Lagos π³π¬. I hope you enjoyed this trip. Stay tuned for our Ibom Air flight to Uyo π³π¬, our home city or as I can say, our hometown in Akwa Ibom State π³π¬. So stay safe and have a blessed day. See ya in the skies.
