Hello folks, I will be posting my shots regarding this trip from St. Louis to Charlotte. I went on this trip with my family to attend the AKISAN (Akwa Ibom State Association of Nigeria) Convention 2022. This trip was taken aboard American Airlines Flight 2937 from St. Louis to Charlotte 🇺🇸 which left before 7:00 PM CDT and arrived at 9:40 PM EDT, therefore arriving late at night. Before, we expected to fly American Flight 1823 but I was in the middle of dealing with my grandma upon us running errands IRL plus nearly gotten in trouble for eating my Aunty’s ice cream sandwich 😢 but it’s all good 👍. So here go the shots and I hope you like it.

After spending all day inside St. Louis, we made it to Gate C6 as our aircraft is parked with ground services prepping up before we boarded our plane ride to Charlotte
Upon us leaving early, here we are as we taxi to RWY 29 for departure out of St. Louis, spotted from Gate A16
Here we go as we got straight onto the runway and started our takeoff roll
And off we go we took off RWY 29 and we are airborne. Goodbye St. Louis
Climbing out of St. Louis as we made a 180 turn counterclockwise heading southeast, moments before crossing the Mississippi River
Minutes before the sunsets, we are cruising at FL350 over Kentucky 🇺🇸 as the flight attendants serve us Biscoff cookies and choice of beverages. Therefore, I chose Sierra Mist plus one of the family have chin chin packed in sandwich bags for us to munch on.
As it gets dark, here we are entering North Carolina as we are in our descent phase, getting close to Charlotte. We will be landing shortly
Alright folks, we are on short final RWY 18R before touchdown at Charlotte Douglas Airport as we fly over Highway 77
And we just landed in Charlotte as we hold short RWY 18C to spot this Lufthansa A350 taking off heading off to Munich 🇩🇪.
After crossing RWYS 18C and 18L, we have arrived to Gate A8 and we are now heading to Baggage Claim C to claim our bags before grabbing a cab to Sheraton & Le Meridien Hotel Complex for our AKISAN Convention 2022.
That completes our flight from St. Louis to Charlotte and I hope you enjoyed my flight with me. Tomorrow is when we are leaving Charlotte heading back to St. Louis. Therefore, we are enjoying our time at Charlotte as we attended the Cultural Night pageant at AKISAN USA 2022 and tonight we have the fundraising/banquet before we head to bed to be up early to head back to the airport.
