Welcome to my feature request about the SAL 747-200.

History about the airline and aircraft

Suid Afrikaanse Lugdiens (short SAL or SAA) is the largest South African airline and was founded in 1934. It began with the Junkers F13 with routes like Cape Town to Windhoek. SAA flew the 747-200 (often the combi version, a mix of passenger and cargo) from 1971 until 2004.
It stopped operating the 747-200 Combi after the tragic crash of SAL 295 in November 1987. The livery above was the most seen on the 747-200 while there also was an older livery on earlier 747-200s.

Why add this?

The SAA 747-200 was an important flagship during the 70s, 80s and 90s. We could fly nice routes like Amsterdam-Cape town or Mauritius-Cape town or Kai Tak-Cape town. Also the livery is amazing on the 747.
