LR or XLR. I don’t think the LR will make it that far

American has stated that CLT would be one of the potential hubs to see her.

CLT-EIDW (I think Aer Lingus would do that more likely)

CLT-LPPT ( U.S Airways once operated it as a seasonal, I like this one)

CLT-EGCC (Another Former usa route)

CLT-LEMD ( Possibly, already operated with 332)

CLT-PANC ( I doubt this one but it fits range and is a good aircraft to use; delta should use it for MSP-ANC )

CLT- Caribbean

Some of those are operated by old 757s so im pretty confident those will be replaced by it.

Perhaps new markets in South America
Lima or Bogota. Don’t think it will happen though cause of KMIA’s presence as being the gateway to Latin America. Bogota may have a tiny chance. American’s intentions for Charlotte rn isn’t really expanding internationally yet. However, by the time the LR comes in, Charlotte will have grown a ton and the focus may shift to expanding the international market as much as
possible. So Latin America and many more additions to Europe would probably be the additions with the LR as a suitable aircraft for many routes

I don’t think AA would use the A321 on routes to major cities like Paris, London and Munich. They use A330s with more capacity, but they may favor the efficiency of the A321 idk. Hard to guess these routes quite far out.

Some routes are very suitable but others are a matter of capacity or efficiency

Qantas I’d suggest (basically taking some A330/788 routes)
YPPH-NFFN
YBBN-PHNL
YSSY-NTAA
YBCS-RJAA
YMML-VHHH
YPDN-NZCH

Can’t be NTBB since it’s runway is way too short and apron may only take ATR72s

Aer Lingus

With the new upcoming orders of the Airbus A321LR and XLR, this will more likely replace the current Trans Atlantic routes operated by the Boeing 757 jets. Quick long haul routes as follows:

Possible Destinations from Dublin and Shannon:

  • Boston
  • Windsor Locks
  • Philadelphia
  • New York JFK
  • Chicago
  • Toronto
  • Montreal
  • Washington DC
