Hey guys, this is my first post in the community. I find myself bored inflight while simply just waiting for my plane to cruise for a few hours. Can you guys please suggest something to do when bored? Thanks!

If you have pro, you should use AP+, that way you can do anything else on your phone during cruise

Yeah, that’s what I’ve been doing. The initial climb is also insanely boring because I do it fully in autopilot and it just takes forever to get above FL280

Remember this. Actual pilots have to endure this too, but once you set your autopilot, you can go away from your device. I would prob do some exercise (calisthenics) but that’s just me. You could set a timer of when you approximately will reach cruise. As well, I would like to ask, what V/S do you climb at?

Well that topic has lots of examples. Just a suggestion.
I like to watch a movie or sleep if overnight flight (depends on the flight length)
3500 fpm. Still takes forever

First of all your not supposed to climb at that steep of a angle, and also that it only takes 30-40 minutes to go from the ground to cruise (including around 10 minutes on the ground) and that as I’ve mentioned, if ATC is not available, you can just set the autopilot to 2500 and leave it there
