Hello. Very enjoyable winds at HAM right now. 25-30kt crosswind landing on 27.
Why are you landing at RWY27 if there are 25kt crosswinds there? It’s not like EHAM only has one runway… :P
But you can get more xp
Or less, depending on how well you bring the aircraft onto the runway (so I’ve been told)
But you have strong crosswinds… compairing a landing without and the equal with crosswind, the second gets more points
It is prity windy here. There can be gusts at around 95 kilometers per hour.
I crashed on landing :(
I think it was a bit unfair, more realistically the plane might have just required some new landing gear and a few hospital bills for sensitive passengers…
I think the plane has to have a bit more fixing up than that…
Wow wind is bad and visibility is also bad. I had to go around then had hard landing on 24. Thanks for letting us know about strong winds at EHAM, I have greater respect for pilots now.
Yes, beautiful spring-day in Netherlands at the moment (not!). I can hear the wind blowing outside my house.
I can see the aircrafts have their little battles on final for EHRD.
Strong winds at Amsterdam, strong winds at Hawaii, strong winds at Canberra…
I did a flight from EGBB to EGHH yesterday at around 2000Z. Winds at EGHH were @ 27G39. Windy times here in Europe…
Yea I flew the 767 down to Bournemouth was @19kt gusting 30 yesterday.
Winds will be dreadful in the UK also. Not a nice day. At all.
Just was on a walk and my coat hood almost blew right off!
