Stormy Approach Into Tampa Bay (TPA)

On American 1464 from Chicago, we encountered a storm while on approach into Tampa Bay. It was a pretty bad cell, and there was tons of lighting. We made a safe landing a few minutes after. The aircraft we were flying was N815NN.

Nice lightning, but the rain doesn’t look extremely realistic.

Why do you think it doesn’t look realistic?

It doesn’t have the blue look of rain, or even better would be a bit of blur on the window so it looks like there’s rain on it.

That’s the point. It’s supposed to be close to black and white to give the image a dramatic feel.

That’s why the AA logo on the winglet are darker colors than usual.

You do realise water isn’t blue right?

Rain also isn’t blue… It’s transparent.

I was thinking like rain is drawn blue, but since it’s clear, a bit of blur on the windows would be nice

Anyway, just ignore this, I was typing at midnight😂
