Storm Doris in the UK

I quote myself: “Not sure what happened though”. I did not blame anyone. And please, this was all the info that was available when it just happened. Do your own research too.

If you don’t know it was pilot error then don’t say it was. Also, basic deduction says one geal collapsed from that photo.

Made spotting a misery at BHX, however I did get some great crosswind photos.

Why Doris? So many names in the world. Why that one?
When I’m being thrown around in a storm I want a tougher sounding name, like storm Xena. Storm Lagertha.etc…
Just saying. No disrespect to Doris.

They just choose from a list of names. At least that’s what they do in the US.

You don’t like being thrown around by Doris?

They alternate between boys names and girls names for each storm… I think the naming stops at W and they start again from A
P.S also the names are submitted by the public now and then

My parents were on a Ryanair flight to Birmingham. After two go arounds, it diverted to Bristol.

It just feels wrong. It’s humiliating enough trying to walk in a blustery gale.

I’m definitely getting involved in naming the next one.

You’ll have to look forward to getting thrown around by Ewan.
