Yep, they do. It’s been there for quite many years now.
This isn’t the old ATC tower, it’s an old ramp tower. I’m not quite sure exactly where this ramp tower is located at the airport.

Well, time to go to work. But would you want to really want to go to sleep while people are talking 24/7? They should really soundproof those “apartments”.
Edit: Wow, i need to learn how to read lol! Looks like the tower is no longer in use. Sucks that its a one night thing only, would love to buy or rent out the place and live there. Imagine being a pilot and living there, never any delays on your part as you live in the airport lol.

I know that at the Crowne Plaza Liverpool which is in the ex Speke aerodrome, there are 2 exclusive suites which are at the top of the control tower. There are still a few old aircraft on the old airside. See my last topic for more details:

I’m going to do some fact checking later today just out of curiosity. I have to know what it really costs to stay at some of these places. I’m sure it’s pricey, but just how pricey is the real question. But it would still be an awesome experience regardless of the cost.
Just saw your post. That is marvelous! Preservation and repurposing at it’s pinnacle. But then again, with the history of that facility, I’m sure nobody was going to let it become a parking lot or something of that sort. Thank you for sharing.

That would be a spotters dream. To be able to spot in a climate controlled environment with the included creature comforts like clean private restrooms and a comfortable place to relax during the lull in flights would have to be the best possible scenario ever.
Oh my god it’s an avgeek’s wet dream! If I had the money I would just buy it outright that way it would be mine forever.
