Stealing the Spotlight - KSFO (Ft.)

Ahem ahem… I decided today morning to go to San Fran International & check out a new location next to the Airtrain on Level 8 of the International Parking Concourse G Garage. Meanwhile, last night @N2628P mentioned to us about a Qatar A359 flying in to SFO from Doha, so I thought, great chance, since it parked at Concourse G.

So, I went there thinking that the Qatar A359 would be the special shot of the day for me, but it turns out, another airlines stole the spotlight completely, and that is…Scroll below

Note: The reason why I’ve only posted a few pictures today is because the quality of the other ones I took at Bayfront of other airlines were not as great as these:

Yep @N2628P, it worked out. I was a bit confused with Level 8 & 9, but I guess Airtrain from the parking works :)
@Snoman, yep. I hope to see it added too!

The view from the top level isn’t that great either. The best view is from level 8. I was able to sneak up the stairwell (I actually don’t think it’s off limits.) The elevators were out of service, and you can’t park there, but the stairwell was open. At least when I was there.

Hmm… weird, the elevators were in service & we went up. There was a camera too, hahaha…
Yeah, looks like the railing on Level 9 were a bit too high

The airtrain does work, however that isn’t the best place to spot at. SFO doesn’t really have any good places to spot planes at, but My dad is an atc at sfo so I sometimes go up into the tower, which is an amazing view. Also their is a park south of runway 28L,28R,1L, and 1R. They will capture takeoffs and landings, as those 4 runways are us3d for landing aircraft and departing aircraft.

Yeah, Bayfront Park? I’ve gone there the other times. I went yesterday too, but these came out better because they were so close to the gates

Yeah, also their is a view from where the rental car returns are, where departing aircraft will depart straight over you.

Yeah, I’m hoping to go to the sky terrace once it opens again… I just missed it by 3 days or so.
