Starting engine using a joystick/yoke

Hello all! Hope you are all staying safe during these times.
I have been using a joystick on infinite flight for a number of years now and seem to be having problems with starting the engine. I can bind the keys easily enough but when I push the button nothing seems to happen. I understand there has been another topic created but closed after a few days, as no one seems to give a definite answer.

You can assign the joystick with buttons. Depends which joystick your flying with

I myself have a joystick, and I don’t think think it’s possible. I also tried it😬

Works for everything expect engines.
