Star Alliance Virtual | A New Dawn
Star Alliance Virtual is a virtual organization that was created in early March 2019. We invited Virtual Airlines in the community to join. Some agreed, while others didn’t, but that didn’t stop us. We were approved by IFVARB and created an alliance. Now, we’re one year from our founding, and a few months away to our first year anniversary.
Star Alliance Virtual looks forward to connect virtual airlines that have real-world counterparts that are part of the real-world Star Alliance. Our mission is to create a intertwined network that connect virtual airlines through events, codeshares, etc.
Star Alliance Virtual is in no way affiliated to the real organization Star Alliance.

The Star Alliance Virtual Accords is a document consisting of the rules for a VA to join Star Alliance Virtual. The rules in the accord are being implemented into the SAV member VAs at the moment. Once implemented, a few rules changes will take place. For VAs that are joining SAV, they will not have to worry about changing their logistics, as we will help them settle into the new system immediately.
Along with Joint Events, SAV will be holding a SAV Series Event very soon. The series will cover the hubs of the SAV VAs. This series works great for anyone who wants to drop by, or to continue a world-tour.
Member VA Parliamentary Procedure :
SAV is a VA-run alliance. Each VA has a say in decisions.
Each VA will need the CEO and another staff member of choosing to join our board.
Due to the IFVARB requirement of a main owner of a VA, @ran will be the official chairman of Star Alliance Virtual. However, all decisions related to SAV will be decided in votes held by board members.
Staff members of SAV are also included as board members, therefore, their votes count as well.
All VAs need to go through a membership process and need to renew their membership each year. This is due to VAs becoming inactive, VAs with a bad history on the IFC, etc. All SAV VAs will be contacted each year to renew their membership, where the SAV team will discuss routes, codeshares, events, activity, and many more factors that are related to creating not just an alliance, but a family.
Star Alliance Virtual will be holding a series of group flights at the hubs of each airline. We want to connect the world with tons of different routes, and it begins with the SAV Series. We will be connecting 1-2 hubs of each airline with group-flights or a flyout. The dates are yet to be determined, but the airports have been listed below.
SAV Series Flights
How to read this?
The first event will be a normal flyout at Jose Maria Cordova (Avianca) which will contain flights to El Dorado as well. The second event will be a group-flight from El Dorado (Avianca) to Dulles (United). The third event will be a group flight from Dulles (United) to San Francisco (United). Star Alliance is also proud to be sponsoring an event for all people to join this month! We would love to see all of you attend! Click Here for more info.
Basically, read the airports from left to right and keep going down. If it says “Flyout”, there will be a flyout from the airport.
