I flew the B772 to CYVR gate 71 and i remarked that the staircase was not straight with the door. Now it might be the shape of the gate but let me know if anyone can reproduce

The front doors on the 777 are slightly diagonal, and the stairs connect in line with the door. This means that the stairs can look as if they aren’t connecting correctly compared to the rest of the fuselage.
