Jet bridge destroyed The terminal is flooded
No more Maho beach plane spotting for a whileđ
Hopefully with the support of the Dutch government, all should be fine soon
Yeah, Iâve already seen some pictures of this. Looks terrible and I hope they can rebuild the lovely Princess Juliana International Airport becuause it is an iconic place for any plane spotter.
No way! Thatâs terrible, one of the most iconic airports in the world destroyed đđź I had plans to go there soon but I guess itâll have to wait đ
I wouldnât go so far as too say completely destroyed, but it looks pretty bad!
Closer⊠Extremely close. I hope that theyâll do something to make that airport active again.
Correction: âairport has half the beach on itâ.
đłđ± #NAF49 with Dutch soldiers and Hurrican Irma relief supplies filed to Curaçao, but hoping for St MaartenâSXM by the time theyâre in the area.
Considering itâs an important hub for the Caribbean it would be extremely surprising if they didnât
A vessel of the dutch gouvernement just came in the harbor off saying Martin with heavy material ti clear the runway and the airport.
Got a flight into st martin in 91 days and a cruise ship leaving there in 89. My tickets are showing it should be taken care of before my trip.
I also really hope theyâll add thi.
Would be quite ab enrichment for global ;)
Itâs not over⊠Jose is heading straight for Saint Maarten as a Category 3 hurricane.
Im glad its not completely destroyed, im waiting to see if i can go once its fixed!
I donât think âlightly destroyedâ is a good way to describe this.
Yeah thereâs no such thing as âlightly destroyedâ either itâs destroyed or itâs not. I fixed it.
Iâm just sayingâŠIt could of been much worse.
R.I.P jet bridge that collapsed you had a great life :)
