Hello everyone!
Last week, I flew from KEF to AKL (!). yeah I def need to summon @ realismpolice lol Well, at least I flew on Airbus factory Carbon so they wont get mad haha
Anyway, I actually flew an almost 24 hour flight. The flight was done by A350. It gone pretty well despite that the direction was opposite when I turned off from AP+ before descending (I was flying to east but somehow ended up heading west) I took some pictures, so below are some pictures from very very high altitude (or sometimes latitude and longitude)!
Preparing for departure at Keflavik.
Smoothly taking off! Hopefully the crew got enough food to endure..
Quickly climbing to FL350 to save fuel (idk I just felt like it. I didnt consider much about the fuel consumption)
Step climb to FL370. We’re above the sea now. Can you see the land over there? It’s Norway!
We finished the climb to FL410, and some hours later we’re currently over Sri Lanka.
I regret that I’ve never flew over Australia before.
Descending to AKL
Pulling into the final approach
Landing!! That was pretty buttery i guess!
There we go, we’re finally parked at a remote gate.
Anyway, I enjoyed this flight very much not only because I’ve never flew such distance, but also because I could discover the places that I didn’t know and realise that the globe is so big.
Thanks for reading!
