Spotting Session at Edinburgh

Last Saturday (24th June) I decided to go on a trip to Edinburgh Airport for the whole day to see the return of Virgin Atlantic to the airport, along with some other long haul international flights. These are my most interesting or best pictures.

1. WestJet B787-9 Dreamliner C-GUDH vacating taxiway A, after a very close call with an EasyJet A320. This aircraft arrived from Calgary with a flight time of 7hrs 16mins
   

   

2. Qatar Airways B787-8 Dreamliner A7-BCU arriving from Doha Hamad Intl Airport after a 6hr 53min flight under the flight number of QR29, also vacating taxiway A
   

   

3. Delta Airlines Boeing B767-300ER N181DN departing runway 24 for a flight across the pond bound for JFK with a flight time of 7hrs 5mins
   

   

4. United Airlines Boeing B767-400ER N59053 departing runway 24 bound for Washington Dulles operating flight UA979 with a flight time of 7hrs 25mins
   

   

5. The one I came for, Virgin Atlantic Airbus A350-1000 G-VEVE. Departing runway 24 after a 2.5 hour turnaround at the airport. Operating flight VS225 only for the summer season. The sound of the engine was absolutely incredible
   

   

P.S. I’m quite new to Plane spotting on a photo camera, some photos may not be as good as professionals but I hope of getting there. Not sure if it’s the forum or not whilst I’m typing this, but it looks like it auto crops.

Umm… Looks like you’re on incorrect categories. Its should be at Real World Aviation. + Spotting.
