Here are some images from my trip so far i flew with frontier today on the A320 from KCVG to KPHX I will be posting more on my return trip in this thread.
Nice you got into the cockpit! The winglet of the aircraft you were on looks cool.
Thank you. Yeah they let me in the cockpit for a min before they started their checklist for departure.
Did you remember to give the flight attendant, cough cough @SkyHighGuys a tip?
Lol he gave me a dang fine tip!
Did you fly the sea turtle? It looks like a sea animal livery.
Haha good to see more people fly Frontier. Also that livery is one of my favorites in their fleet.
Its Finn the Tiger Shark (N220FR) which fun fact was also the ebola plane back in 2014.
Nice I knew it was a sea animal!
Thanks for sharing these photos! I never noticed how compact the A320’s cockpit was.
Actually there is alot of room in the cockpit I sat down for a second and I had plenty of leg room in fact I could even reach the rudder pedals unless I moved the seat.
Yup fin the shark was who was on the tail sorry didn’t get a good angle to take a shot I’ll try again on my return trip
I went to DCA last week and stayed back and I was allowed into the cockpit and when I fly back the 3rd of July I get to board first, so I’m going to try that. I hope they let me in.
Will make a post once return trip done, took Alot of pics when I fly to DCA but been busy since conference (flew solo, so explored quite a bit).
Yeah the pilots were very cool for allowing me before they started there pre flight list. I asked what our v speeds we’re and they looked shocked I even knew what that meant lol. Hopefully ya get to do the same it’s always a blast to be in a cockpit. I would love to be in one our entire flight again I was able to do that once on a Southwest flight.
When did you ask and who? Like I’m thinking once boarding starts and I enter the plane. Since I got upgraded to first class, I am the closest seat to the door and ask the flight attendant.
That what o did was ask when I was boarding first. And I just asked the captain if I could take a photo.
The last flight I spotted my last time at Sky Harbor was a live bat in the terminal. Not sure what model, though.
