Step 1. go to your nearest airport
Step 2. go to the designated spotting location if there is one
Step 3. pull out your phone with the worst camera and point it in the air towards the metal bird
Step 4. TAP. THE. BUTTON.
Step 5. “enjoy”
I was apart of the iPhone plane spotting gang for a long long time, armed with my 5s and then the 6s. Now I have a dedicated camera, and the SE 3 (2022). I must say these are pretty good for the SE 2/3!
Lighting can be tricky with these single camera phones. Proximity to the target also boosts lighting a bit, since it’s easier to focus on something closer, as well as how clean the subject turns out
Military never appears on Flightradar, for those planes you have to use adsb exchange.
