Spotting at London Luton 16/06/17

On the 16th of June, I took a quick spotting trip to London Luton Airport (LTN/EGGW), the day before my flight to Amsterdam. There is a fantastic spotting location on the South side of the airport, along the perimeter fence, which is marked on Google Maps. It offers great views over the Eastern side of the airport.

Enjoy this selection of photos, taken with a Canon EOS 700D & EF 70-200mm f2.8L IS ii USM Zoom lens.

Any idea where the Beechcraft was going? It seems like a Medivac by the looks of things.

Thank you :)

@IceBlue She flew from Lasham to Luton and then I caught her departing to Farnborough. Not sure of any other details unfortunately.

Shame the EasyJet A320neo or WOW Air A321neo didn’t show up. Never the less, great shots.

I am a big fan of GA, I think we need loads more additions for IF!!

And thanks to all of you for your comments :)

@anon31652286 The NEO evaded me by about 20 minutes, I was a bit annoyed. Btw Wizz Air don’t have any NEOs quite yet, WOW air is the first European A321neo operator.

Yes, I meant WOW air (but they don’t operate to that airport, oops). Seem to get mixed up with the two, they have similar colours too! Lol I didn’t mean for that to rhyme. Hopefully you’ll be in luck next time! Lol it actually rhymed again.

They both have amazing liveries! And yeh, I’m still on the hunt for a NEO!

Thank you for sharing these great photos. While I am an admitted GA fan, and always will be, it is refreshing to see some truly excellent shots of the Wizz Air A320. The livery just looks right on the 320 to me. I don’t know what it is, I just adore it for some odd reason.
