Nice pictures!! JFK is the closest large international airport to me and I can see planes on the approach pattern, usually anywhere from 12,000 - 8,000 feet in the air. I live on Central Long Island and can see the planes heading from the NE to the SW.

These all look great! I would just advise adjusting the brightness next time on some of the photos.

Btw, Do you know the registration code for the Generic A343?

Not entirely sure, I’ll check if I have photos with it visible. What I do know is that Flightaware said it’s a Finnair.

Looks great! Going spotting at Indy tomorrow but I can’t take pics with my canon because I’m getting it upgraded 😂 (iPhone 6 camera please be enough)

Nikon D3300 with a 70-300mm zoom lens.

Nice I figured you were using a lens over 200mm and the crop sensor helps out. Also those 24MP come in handy.

It is, I don’t know why Flightaware said Finnair, haha. @SingaporeAirlines the reg. is 9H-SUN and is Marked as a HiFly Malta A340-300.
