Spotting at FAOR, Johannesburg, South Africa

Hi!

I went Spotting about 2-3 weeks ago while it was raining, the rain was unexpired so I ended up wrapping my camera in my jacket. This was a mid day spot not early morning like I usually do. I got to see Emirates new A380 route from Jo’burg to Dubai. My camera has a much softer focus then my old camera and it’s annoying me a lot. I don’t know if that’s just how it is or something. Weirdly when I’m not plane spotting it’s not as soft then plane spotting, I can’t tell if it’s just the shutter or something else, I’m going to go to Cannon to get it checked out. If you want to compare for you self, check my older spotting topics then compare it to this.

Here’s the photos!

That A380 picture are abit blurred,

Another thing, I was not using a stand for my camera, (forgot what it’s called), when I was using it on a more recent plane spotting trip the pictures came out a lot better but still abit soft.

I’m going to just edit this comment, once I hit ten then I’ll make a new comment. I’ll use this topic for all of my spotting pictures rather than making new ones and cluttering up the forum. If you want other angles just ask. NOBODY USE WITHOUT PERMISSION

Saw this MD11!

It’s a long haul! I was lucky to sit in first class.

Yeah you are! I’ve only flown it in economy.

Marvelous as always. I noticed that Etihad brought back the A330, I prefer the B789.

They both come, they both lovely too!

The B789 would certainly be better in all aspects. Economical, comfort, and style.

They were racing each other to NBO

Yeah!

@Marshall_Hilfman they may have not been enough demand for that trio to be profitable.

My father was telling me the other day Etihad doesn’t operate for profits. They are owned by the government of the UAE in order to attract tourism to their county.

I don’t think so, it wouldn’t make sense for an airline to operate a non profitable route.
