Spotting at CVG again but this time better 😈

Decided it was a good day to go to the viewing center at CVG to get some amazing photos :slightly_smiling_face:

Gear

Nikon D5300 with a Nikon 70-300mm 4.5-6.3G ED zoom lens.

First off we got a Amazon Prime 767 coming in for landing on 27

Then we have a United Embraer (don’t know the type) again for landing at 27

Next we have a Challenger 750 which I thought when I took it was going to come out terrible but then came out great

And then last but not least the son of the whale the a Atlas Air 747-400 that somehow with my trembling hands turned out amazing

These weren’t all the photos but the best ones. I’m open to feedback!
@AndrewWu how did I do should I quit my spotting completely?

nice shots, the United was an E175

yes. less competition for me

They look good given the weather! I would just try to find some sun but you have a solid baseline going here.

Overall, nice shots! My only note would be to center the aircraft a little more. In some of the shots the wings are cut off on one side and on the other side, you can see the full wing. This is mainly due to the angle that you’re spotting at. The best thing you can do to fix this would be to either get really good at framing, or step back and go for a side profile.

No Delta🔺? I’m shocked. You know Delta Air Lines is increased with CVG lol

I actually just realized that I don’t think I saw any the whole time. They were probably there I just didn’t notice them.

Thanks for the feedback I’ll try to get the full plane next time!

Thanks Andrew!

Atlas 747  too bad you didn’t have clear skies but sometimes the contrast and color of the airplane look better in overcast becuause phones tend to shoot warm tints in high humidity
