Spoilers will always retract after deselecting reverse thrust

I would like to know if any of you have noticed this: With the recent update, when the spoilers are selected in the armed mode, they are supposed to retract when decelerating through 40 kt GS. This function is almost always used during landing. The problem is that if you deselect reverse thrust (usually when decelerating through 70 kt IAS) the spoilers will always retract, no matter how gently you do so. I assume the spoilers interpret the throttle moving from reverse thrust up to idle as the pilot adding thrust, making them retract. This is slightly problematic as it can reduce the effectiveness of the wheel brakes. If you have not noticed this issue, you should test it for yourself: It’s quite annoying.

Hello,

Thanks for posting! The developers are aware of the issue and are working on a fix.

To keep the spoilers extended for as long as possible, I like to keep the reverse thrust minimal until 30kts. Some pilots do this IRL, as shown in this video at 2:50:

IRL, idle reverse may be used up until reaching taxi speeds. Unfortunately, this function is not available on Infinite Flight.

I agree, besides that in real life, spoilers are almost always only downloaded after clearing the track, not when you stop the reverse.
