Spitfire Mk VIII GZoN (high altitude fighter)

This Spitfire, which belonged to the 32nd Squadron, was painted in the RAF’s high altitude camouflage scheme of Medium Sea Grey on the upper surfaces and PRU Blue on the underside.
The photo was taken when the aircraft was stationed in Foggia, Italy, 1944.
It may have the extended wingtips.
