Spirit airlines has been having some financial problems after its failed merger with JetBlue back in 2023. The loss of over $340 million dollars was a huge loss to the low budget airline. The airline has delayed its delivery of new jets until 2030 or later! The original years were either 2025 or 2026 for new jets, but the money loss has procrastinated the delivery by 5 years or even more. Spirit plans to make up the $340 million dollar loss over the next couple years. The airline has had trouble in the past though, losing over $447 million dollars back in 2023. That was better though than the over $550 million dollar loss the year before! But Spirit has been trying to bounce back lately and they are taking the next step to making the airline better!
