So I’m flying the Cirrus and I noticed that randomly on touch down I go into an uncontrollable spin sometimes when I have flaps deployed. Are there any suggestion as to how I can avoid this or what is even causing it to begin with?
Are there any winds?
Make sure you are not landing on your nose wheel.
Very little to none on my last landiing into KNUC. But like I said it’s random so sometimes there may be sometimes there isn’t
I’m positive i’m not. My landings are very clean. Nose flared perfectly. I check my G forces and it barely reaches 0.5 G’s on landing (Not sure if that’s how other persons measure how hard they are landing)
Flare so at touchdown you’re under -80ft/m. Nice and soft.
Practice makes perfect
This should go in the 'Support Category.
If you use the rudder, make sure to do only small corrections.
Send a video maybe?
I did. I guess if no one else has that issue then I must become better at it. Has do be something im doing wrong
Maybe you might record your screen while landing and post it here.
What’s your landing speed and flaps setting?
@BAH242 I told u that this has to go in the correct category.
No need to tell him twice
He didn’t reply
It doesn’t mean he didn’t notice
Your’re right I didn’t notice but topic moved. My apologies
I’m at 10 degrees flaps at about 75-80 knots. M y back wheels touch so smoothly when i put the nose wheel down slowly the second it hits the runway I spin.
If the issue continues, try re-installing the app.
