So I’ve always been mesmerized by engine spinners. From engine start to spool ups but I’ve noticed this a lot with RR engines in particular. Does anyone know what causes this or why this occurs? this is a Norwegian 787-9 with Trent 1000 series engines

I’m not sure what you mean here. Are you referring to why the spinners look different on taxi and take off?
yes I am. I’m just very curios
I believe it’s because the spinner is spinning faster so it appears different due to frame rates on the camera or something like that. You can see cooler videos of helicopter or propeller powered aircraft looking like the propeller isn’t moving because it is spinning at the same rate as the frames of the camera.
