Speed under 10,000’

In real life, you could receive a violation if you are over 250kts under 10,000ft. But, in IF you will get a violation if you are over 260kts under 10,000ft. Why is it 260kts and not 250kts?

I believe this was set at 260kts and not 250kts as there was a time where it was 250kts and pilots would receive violations if they were flying at 250kts but the wind then increased their speed without the user being made aware to 254kts etc, which would cause violations.

They have set the limit at 260kts instead to avoid this and provide a 10kt leeway.

Take care mate!
