KDCA Special Arrivals and Waypoints

I know these have existed for a while, I just wanted to bring them up

The FAA after the terror attacks of September 11th made some new arrivals into Reagan National Airport as a way to remember the attacks. They are apart of of new system(back then when these were created), and their names are FRDMM(freedom) and TRUPS(troops)

• FRDMM arrival consists of these waypoints: WEEEE WLLLL NEVVR FORGT SEP11, which stands for we will never forget 9/11

• TRUPS arrival consists of the following waypoints: USAAY WEEDU SUPRT OOURR TRUPS, which stands for USA: we do support our troops

• There are many other waypoints that aren’t apart of these arrivals that are also there to show support of our troops, nations, and remember the attacks on September 11th. Some of these are: STAND and TGTHR (together), HEROO, HONNR(honor), COURG(courage)
  ALL WAYPOINTS MENTIONED ARE IN INFINITE FLIGHT IF YOU WANT TO USE THEM

I’m thinking about creating an event using the FRDMM arrival on 9/11, and a TRUPS arrival on July 4

This would be great. Imagine FDS releasing this on 9/11 and having an FNF for it the Friday after 9/11.

I looked up the waypoint Sep11 because that’s the one i remembered and it wasn’t there.

Think you mean Chicago here. But yes, there are special waypoints around the country that are related to the nearby city/region.

Also, those aren’t necessarily IRL flight plans, or arrivals/departures, since these are two real arrivals into KDCA, this thread is different then that one.
