Hello I’m making this topic upon the spawn in gates because I’m planning to fly the AA B757-200 LAX-STL. When I open up the airport, I see most gates being red as shown in the photo below. What does those red dots mean at the gate? I’m on Expert Server. Thank You

The red dots mean your plane is unsuitable to spawn in that gate, as it is too large. Try a smaller plane if you want to spawn there
It means the gate is too small to accommodate your aircraft :)

Well look at this photo. For example if I fly the Delta B757-200 STL-ATL and the departure gate at STL is Gate A6, I can’t spawn there and will have to fly a smaller aircraft and I don’t know what I’m gonna do.
Bruno whom edited this airport is looking for a solution for this to accommodate 757s. It won’t be addressed until a future app release though. The 757s are tough to gate sometimes, but we’ve managed to find a compromise that should work.

There is no where else to spawn it with the B757 as for now at KSTL

You can find my response to another user who had this problem. I’m aware that Delta specifically is using the 757s for some of their daily frequencies of the ATL-STL route, but pretty much all gates there are too tight for the 757. As @Levet said, this airplane is the most difficult to deal with when assigning gate sizes and stops.
