Southwest Airlines YouTube Video: Captain Honors World War 2 Veteran in Flight Deck

Hi,

Recently while browsing through YouTube, this video popped into my recommended, and I’m happy it did. It’s such an amazing story, and, so heartwarming. I even started tearing up because “somebody was chopping onions”. This is just a truly amazing video! Such a good video apart from all the other videos on YouTube. This makes me so truly happy. My deepest condolences to the family. And the pilot is truly amazing for doing this. I felt like I just had too share it.
Here is the video,

Regards,
Josh

Respect those who fight for their country – and for our freedom

That is poignant. Anyway, shouldn’t this be in #real-world-aviation?

I was abit unsure, as it isn’t directly related the aviation.

I cried a little, not going to lie. When the captain got choked up I lost my composure briefly.

Very touching as I am an Air Force Veteran. Retired in 2001 and now in commercial aviation.
