Same. I am glad they brought back the two toned seats though. It’s not as iconic as the tan and blue but it’s still a nice change from the solid blue from before.

We finally got the new Florida One here as a RON, so here is a side by side of 945 and 9019. (Small side note, we had yellow-orange flood lights when I took the picture of 945 that have since been replaced with white LED lights. So the yellow tint on 945 is the lights we had, not the camera.)

Well, really thought I was going to fly on Independence One on Friday, but of course it got swapped.
I never chase specials or book flights last minute, but it showed up on FR24 Thursday afternoon that it was scheduled to fly MDW-ATL. Given I had off Friday and the flights were not outrageously priced, I booked myself to fly up to MDW Friday morning then fly back on Independence One. Also, a friend of mine who works for Southwest was nice enough to let me use one of his Low Fare Promo codes to get a discount on the flights.
Well, of course late Thursday evening it got swapped. Definitely a bummer since I’m trying to fly on it during the 250th anniversary, but it hasn’t come into ATL in a while and of course the year is almost over.
Oh well. Silver lining was that since I cancelled it within 24 hours of booking, I’ll get a refund. But definitely a reminder why chasing specials is typically a bad idea and not cheap..

The Max 7s are starting to walk up after their long slumber. N7203U woke up yesterday and now N7215U is awake 
Also, I’m pretty sure the aircraft from the Apple Maps imagery is 15U. Goes to show how long this has taken

Got to keep an eye on all existing Southwest MAX 7s, including the prototype one that has Southwest winglets but is still painted in the Boeing livery.

I’m still howling at how much blue this and Nevada One have because of the special Southwest tail that’s used now.
