It’s gorgeous, but, the extra white on the aft half of the fuselage is really an eye sore…
I’m still getting used to the longer fuselage. I mean Florida One has been on the short and stubby -700 for the past 16 years, so will definitely have to get used to the longer fuselage.
While it’s still not perfectly symmetrical, most of the specials aren’t perfectly centered. But, the longer fuselage of the -800/MAX 8 makes them look more balanced and spaced out imo. It’s just still the white wheel hubs and blue WiFi dome that’s bugging me, but I suppose those are minor.

Do all new max deliveries have starlink?
None so far. Supposedly newly built Max 7s should have them, but that’s yet to be seen

Anyone else curious if Southwest will just be using their Max 7s & 8s for transatlantic flights (when they get announced) or possibly look into getting bigger aircraft, like the 787?

In my opinion, it will be 10+ years before Southwest realistically starts considering a widebody for its fleet. I think realistically in the next 5 years, we could definitely start seeing transatlantic flights with the current max fleet. The biggest hurdle for widebody aircraft is going to be establishing new maintenance and operations facilities for them. I would give it around a 5% chance that Southwest actually orders some form of widebody but it really depends on how successful transatlantic flights on the MAX are.

Has Southwest confirmed they will launch trans Atlantic flights? Tbh while their competitors Alaska and JetBlue have both gone over seas international, I feel Southwest should stay in the US as they dominate the field in many ways. Also they’re very heavy on the 737 family fleet. I don’t know if they’d be so risky to add an aircraft as big as the 787.
