Tennessee One (N8620H) sits idle at MCI maintenance facility 11/24/2025 (close as I could get)
I wonder when it will ever fly again and leave the WN fleet. It’s been sitting idle for three weeks now and of course spent all that time at SAL.
I also wonder if we’ll have to wait to get a new Tennessee One until 8620 is gone, which like I said above, who knows how long that could be…
It’s still just so odd to me that they’d choose a special livery to be leased away, but it also wouldn’t be the first time. Illinois One (918) was a similar case.
UGH… my plane tomorrow is supposed to RON in Spokane and California One is spending the night there. BUT, it’s headed to LAS rather than PHX where I need it to go to catch my flight. Second time this happened with me and California One.
Is this livery ever going to fly or did the airline and show lie and weren’t even going to fly it to begin with…
I’ve been wondering the same. Haven’t seen any photos of it out in the wild.
Tbh a show lying to it’s contestants isn’t really surprising, which is really sad since these graphic designers did all this work only to have it yoinked out of existence.
About to fly on N8510E from HOU-ATL and it has the engine text removed, but hasn’t been repainted yet. Interesting.
N8610A was caught on the LAS FR24 live cam this morning and it’s has the engine text removed as well.
Lone Star one, my beloved
After a handful of typical Southwest tail swaps, looks like I might be flying on one of Southwest’s newest MAX 8’s with the new cabin tomorrow N8979L! And even better is that I’ll get to fly on it twice as it’s scheduled for my flight from ATL-HOU and then HOU-SAN!
Wish I was going to San Diego tomorrow!
