Southwest Airlines Livery Tracking Thread

Did Tennessee One just come back from the dead :eyes:

we all thought it was gone but no it might be back

SAL is also a location of heavy MX

What if it’s albino or in another livery

wdym by albino

Euro white

ew I dont like euro-white (exept for Qantas, Air New Zealand, Turkish, or British)

I mean painted all white, like N986AS from iAero Airways

This was N918WN (ex-Illinois One) after it was retired. Possibly the same thing has happened to N8620H, but idk why it flew to MCI.

What I will say though, is that typically aircraft that are ferried to/from SAL usually use HOU as their point of origin/destination. HOU-SAL and SAL-HOU.

Tennessee One seems to be resuming normal operation. Probably just maintenance related

I see that…

This is really weird. It’s still listed as “Stored” and leased by GOL on Planespotters.net and I even read elsewhere that it was listed as one of the leased aircraft.

I sure hope it’s not going anywhere though and I was kind of bummed to see all that. I mean tbh, idk why they would’ve chosen to reprint it on 8620 in 2022 when it would be leaving the fleet three years later…

If it does indeed return tomorrow as FR24 says, then it was likely heavy MTX like 8619 (Illinois One). Also, 8620 had a mismatched nose prior to going to SAL.

Also, Triple Crown One stopped by ATL last night!

I love the blue on TC1

Definitely one of my favorites

hopefully someone can spot it

Only shows one flight lol

I believe Triple Crown uses Canyon Blue for the fuselage.

N8620H currently showing MCI-MCI and then no future flights on FR24…

Fun note is that California One is stopping over in KC right now.

Does anyone know if GOL (speculation bc of previous comments) uses ATS at KCI to transition acft to their fleet? I think SWA has (or maybe still does) used them. 8620H definitely did some sort of test flight a few hrs ago, went to the southwest and up to FL410 before back to KC.

I wasn’t gonna answer this original since it looked like the aircraft was returning to normal service… but it seems like it might not be. MCI is a common place to find aircraft either be stripped for parts or stored.

Seeing that 8620 parked over there, it might be good as gone from Southwest fleet, but time will tell

Wow, already to N8992L! Some aircraft were skipped, but we’ve made it to 8992 already taking its first test flight yesterday.

Also, it sounds like MCI is where the transfer of ownership happens so N8620H is likely on its way out as expected. The flight yesterday was likely a demo flight prior to handing it over to its new lessor.
