Certainly. That place is also where some aircraft go get re-registered + repainted and maintenance.
Will definitely keep an eye out for those two
Damn y’all have beef with this man or something? ![]()

I tried to spot it this morning on the MDW live stream. The lack of light and reflection from the terminal lights made it look like it had engine text. Fortunately with this picture, I don’t have to try spotting it again
I should also note, just looking at FR24, 8972, 8973, 8974, and 8975 have had very recent additional test flights today and on 9/27. 8976 had one on 9/22. I would imagine all of those aircraft are likely due for delivery pretty soon.
Of course next in line would then be 8977 (Louisiana One) which is the only one out of those brand new MAX 8’s which hasn’t taken any test flights yet…
Another brand new MAX 8 (N8966S) spent the night here in ATL last night! I believe this was also the first aircraft to receive the updated Heart livery without the engine text. I’ve also found no images online of this aircraft yet, so it was literally my first time seeing it. Quite possibly also the first photo of in on the internet!
Best upload that one to planespotters site
Looks pretty good on the Max 8
No way! So the first state livery has been moved to the MAX!
Supposedly they’re all moving to the Max 8 from here on out, except for Colorado One. We’ll probably see Tennessee, Maryland, Arizona, Florida, and Missouri on Max 8s over the next year or so
what is gonna happen with colorado one (its my fav)
Another shot of the new Louisiana One (N8977G) by user @photo.jchen on IG.
Very exciting to see and it looks AMAZING! So happy that my home state was the first state flag livery on a MAX!
Still, N8977G has yet to take any flights according to FR24…
