My beloved special livery! Lone Star One (and Imua one as well lol)
Not me seeing the JetBlue and trying to figure out what new Southwest livery that was
lol that lineup was so good I had to get a pic of it
Cant go wrong with laguardia
Happy cake day!
@KGAviation Heads Up Missouri One will be at ATL Today and guess were its going to
Yeah, unfortunately it came in earlier during the day today. I work overnight so I only see them if they RON or the two red-eyes we get. Also, I’m off this week on vacation…
Dang, it’s like everything that could possibly stop you from catching this flight
Any updates on when both Arizona and Florida One will move on the 737-800 ??
Also I just realized that Southwest has started to retire the 737-700s with the N93WN registration ones, N933WN & N934WN were recently retired a while ago. Only eight 737s with the N93WN registrations left.
N930WN, N931WN, N932WN, N935WN, N936WN, N938WN, and N939WN.
No clue…
I’ve asked this multiple times in Reddit posts in r/SouthwestAirlines as well as on their official 2025 airliners.net thread. The only responses I get are that the special liveries will probably go away eventually or that nobody really knows. I’m sure this is just a rumor, but who knows.
Florida, Louisiana, and Arizona One are all due for repaints anytime now. Recent photos of these three aircraft are showing their fading and chipping paint, especially Louisiana One. All three were painted in 2018, so it’s been over 7 years now and repaints are typically every 6-8 years.
Glad I got to fly LS1 on the -700 when I did then.
Oh no that would be disappointing to see all those cool flag liveries go extinct !!
They won’t go extinct.
Speaking of flag liveries, I really hope to see some new ones. These are ones I think would look good
Minnesota
Mississippi
Ohio
Utah (Really needs to happen)
I’ve always been curious to see what state Southwest would pick for their next flag special livery. You could say that Freedom One covers all 50 states. Obviously Imua One covers Hawaii, although it’s not the conventional state flag design like the rest. Before those two, it was Louisiana, which as a person who grew up and is from Louisiana, surprised me I just say. Southwest doesn’t really have a huge operation in New Orleans, but you could also say the same for New Mexico (ABQ) I suppose. Let’s also not forget, Southwest flies international too.
Now that I moved to Atlanta, I always felt like once Southwest acquired AirTran, a “Georgia One” was a no-brainer. I’ve talked to Southwest folks here at ATL, and they’re pretty sad that they never got a “Georgia One.” And now that Southwest has basically cut half of their flights from ATL, it’s looking more and more unlikely…
Oh dang the Minnesota one looks nice ! “ Minnesota One “ Livery would be amazing !!
A AirTran Retro / Heritage plane would have also been nice.
