It kicked off with a powerful takeoff as the CFM LEAP-1B engines of the Boeing 737 MAX roared to life, smoothly lifting us into the morning sky out of Buenos Aires. In the cockpit, pilots managed a steady climb as advanced flight displays glowed across the glass panel. As we began our descent, there they were-the breathtaking Andes Mountains: snow-capped peaks stretching out endlessly beneath us. The approach to Santiago was calm and scenic, the aircraft touching down smoothly on the runway at the end of a short but stunning journey across South America.
