Air Tanzania has said the following statement on Twitter:

“Dear Customers,

Due to unforeseeable circumstance, Air Tanzania profoundly regrets to inform you that we expect flight schedule adjustments.

We sincerely apologize for all inconveniences this might cause to your travel plans.”

Air Tanzania has had one of their aircrafts seized before. In 2017, a Dash-8 Q400 ready to be delivered to the airline was seized in Canada before it was delivered.

What do you think about this incident?

Air Tanzania has to pay their loans. This is what happens if you don’t.
I wonder if this was an episode of Airplane Repo?

May I add, before this, the president of Tanzania took control of the airline and went on a humongous spending spree. So that’s where the money went!

Just like how TWA fell. But TWA didn’t have their planes seized.
