Decided to take the BA A380 for a spin to Johannesburg as flight BA57. Here are the pics:

Climbing smoothly out of London, a long 11hs journey begins:
Those 11hs are reduced to 2:30 thanks to the app’s timelapse feature. Cruising at our first altitude of FL330.
Above the sands of Africa, more specifically, over Algeria.
Over the lush greenery of the Democratic Republic of Congo, FL390.
Descending into Johannesburg:

The A380 is a very good aircraft, handles very well and isn’t as pitch sensitive as the B787.
