Sound glitching

The second time I went into IF to fly the MAX in solo mode, i noticed my audio making these weird popping glitching noises, it made the engines and all other sfx sound weird. Is there anything to resolve this issue?

Device: iPad 9th gen
Operating on: iPad OS 18.1

Hello @Infinite_Ec, this problem can be solved by toggling Siri on your device, and then canceling it. Please see Jan’s reply at the bottom of the copied post (I would not change your accessibility settings, using the Siri trick is much simpler and always works for me).

Strange flickering sound when flying?

There seems to be an issue with iPadOS 18 on that device, which causes this audio rattle. There is a workaround though. After starting a flight, go into your iPad’s settings, tap Accessibility, then on the right tap Spoken Content. Next just tap the Speaking Rate slider in the middle, so without changing it. You’ll hear “Speak selection reads selected content.”. Switch back to IF and the sound will be normal. Unfortunately you’ll have to do this every time IF is restarted. It could be that…
