I posted this a few weeks ago, seemingly I couldn’t find anyone experiencing the same issue. Well now it’s back.
Both flights of done today when I spawned in… no sound at all. Only after leaving the flight and swiping the app and waiting a few minutes to reopen seems to work.
Anyone else? Has gone away and come back for me. Just don’t want to leave and restart 3 times each session 🫡

Just reloaded app and restarted the flight after 5 minutes. Still no sound. Took me few attempts earlier before it worked.
I fly everyday. This is definitely a rare and new bug for me only since last update as far as I can tell 🫡
Edit: I went to screen record it and when I stopped record the sound kicked back in. Just trying to figure out why it’s happening
me too!!! it happened to me but for me it wont even work if i restart it or anything.
I’ve not had to wait too long personally. The last time it’s like the sound just ‘kicked in’.
Last time I raised this I thought it was because I’d changed the voice before spawning in, BUT this time I didn’t do a thing.
I’ll see how it goes with tomorrows flights 🫡

Update: yesterday’s flying went without any issue regarding the sound at spawning in.
Really just trying to put my finger on what was different on the day it was bugging. For now doesn’t seem like a constant issue from my end 🫡
Try triggering Siri the next time there’s no sound.
That should bring back the sound.
Ahh yes, happens on my iPhone from time to time. No problems with the iPad.
Thing is, similar to what @Jan mentioned, I would switch to YouTube for a moment, press play on any video, and come back to IF. Then the sound comes back. Maybe give that a try
That hasn’t helped with the iPads I encountered this with.
