Somon Air is a private airline headquartered in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. The airline operates a fleet of one Airbus H125 Helicopters, 4 737-800s, Two 737-900s, Two 737-8 Maxs on order, one Mil Mi-8-AMTs, and a 787-8 operated by the Tajik Government!
At the moment, this aircraft is Somon Air’s workhose, operating flights from their base in Dushanbe to Jeddah, Trabzon, Munich, Urumqi and Dubai.
I requested this aircraft because Tajikistan definitely needs some representation in IF. Somon Air is not the countries flag carrier but is unofficially called so since it is the biggest airline operating. This aircraft would also open up a lot of routes in the Central Asia Region, as well as increase diversity!
