Me personally i leave my phone open till it starts its descent to its destination and i take manual control for landing etc etc, but i mostly watch TV or live my life.
Watch movies, tv shows or hangout with friends or family.
I sleep because I have other things to do with my phone through the day.
I just leave my phone open and play video games on my ps5 or whatever stuff I need to get done during the day
I do homework, chores, sleep, eat, plan my next flights, talk with friends/family, but I always make sure that I have a timer set for a few minutes before my TOD so I can ensure that nothing goes wrong
On incredibly rare occasions I will touch grass, if Iām feeling adventurous
I used to do overnight flights so I slept but on normal long-haul flights during the day. I am at school and when I come home I touch grass and annoy my siblings and then I descend and land.
Depends on the length! I normally either sleep and let IF run throughout the night, or I play video games and do HW. Once youāre cruising and have AP on, Infinite Flight runs itself. So I plug it in, and do other stuff.
Sometimes when im flying on an expensive airline or long route im creating my own business class or even first lol just for funš(why not). I have a really nice furniture chair at home wich can go almost lie flat. before take off i treat myself with some fresh orange juiceš§šand after take off and everything is set i go to the kitchen making a nice 2 or even 3 course meal from fresh ingredients. Only doing this when i have time. If i do overnight i sleep of course and when arriving in the morning i often make a nice bit more exlusive breakfast than i normally do. It makes flying in IF more fun and realš
Thatās actually a brilliant idea! Iāll consider trying this one out next time.
If, on the off chance that you really have to use the bathroom, but thereās turbulence, or youāre ascending/descending, do you hold it like you would normally have to, or do you just go?
I do my long haul flights almost exclusively overnight because I just hate waiting so long to be able to land. I work from home most of the week so I can depart the night before between like 8 and 10 PM and then land in the mid-morning. While the flight is actually ongoing, I just leave my iPad Pro plugged up at my desk with the brightness all the way down.
Now that sounds fun!
Doing work or sleeping while keeping my phone on guard. Iād often check on my phone if itās the time to step-climb (I donāt use IF assistant). Sometimes there are pop-ups from my provider, and sometimes somebody would just call me out of the blue, and I hate all of it because it temporarily disconnects me for a sec and when I realize it a couple of mins later the live server would just turn red and I have to use flight resume, otherwise my flight wonāt be recorded.
If possible, leave my device at home while Iām at work, or do the flight overnight
